Files stay on this device. Nothing is uploaded. One file at a time.
Which mode when
| Your PDF | Mode | Typical result |
|---|---|---|
| Exported from Word or a form | Rebuild structure | 5 to 30 percent smaller, text stays selectable |
| Scanned pages, photo-heavy | Rebuild as images | 50 to 90 percent smaller, text becomes picture |
How it works
- Add one PDF. Note its size in the file card.
- Rebuild structure suits text PDFs. Rebuild as images suits scans and photo PDFs.
- Click Run and read the saved percentage in the result panel.
Limits
- Processing uses this device's memory. A 100 MB PDF is fine on most desktops and slow on older phones.
- Password-protected PDFs cannot be opened.
- The original file is never changed.
FAQ
Is the file uploaded?
No. The code runs in this tab. Open your network panel: it stays empty while a tool runs.
What does it cost?
Nothing. No account, no watermark, no page limit to unlock.
